Cooper Health Care University, a renowned healthcare provider in Camden, New Jersey, faced significant challenges with its outdated accounts payable (AP) system. The legacy software was inefficient, lacked visibility, and was difficult for users to navigate. With over 10,000 employees, Cooper Health needed a modern, scalable solution to streamline its AP processes and reduce costs.

To complicate the situation, Cooper was in the middle of transitioning from on-premise to CloudSuite ERP, so the modern AP solution they were looking for also needed to integrate seamlessly with the new cloud system.

And the results of the migration speak for themselves: a 33% touchless invoice processing rate, detection of 1,800 duplicate invoices, and increased monthly invoice processing from 8,000 to 13,000. Moreover, thanks to Yoga’s native electronic data interchange (EDI) functionality, Cooper Health was able to phase out Infor’s inbound rule table to manage invoices and subsequently achieved a 98% EDI processing rate. The healthcare provider now enjoys greater efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness in its AP operations.
