Baltimore, MD (August 8th, 2015) — RPI Consultants delivered its Summer 2015 Webinar Series, dubbed the ‘Summer Classic’, this past Friday, July 31st. The webinars were broadcast live from RPI’s Baltimore Headquarters at 101 North Haven St. and focused heavily on current and upcoming project initiatives for Lawson customers. Over one hundred customers attended the various webinars online, with a handful joining the presenters at RPI headquarters in Baltimore and sitting in on presentations in person.
RPI’s webinars included a session on Advanced Technical Differences for Infor Lawson 10x, an upgrade that is in process for a large portion of the Lawson customer base and a session discussing Infor’s Cloud offering for Lawson, which continues to see increased adoption.
Richard Stout, a Partner with RPI Consultants who is responsible for technical services, delivered the 10x session which focused on differences and upgrade considerations based on lessons learned, targeting advanced Lawson users and technical resources. Highlights included Ming.le/SharePoint integration with Portal, ESS/MSS considerations, Process Flow to IPA migration planning, Landmark considerations and ISS Sync planning and prep, as well as system architecture and hardware considerations.
Senior Technical Consultants Carl Seay and Chip Cunningham also participated and helped field questions. Commanding total knowledge of the application stack from OS to user interface, Carl Seay has been helping Lawson customers make the most of their technology investment for over seven years as a Systems Analyst, Programmer, Administrator, and Installer. Over the last two years, Carl has had the rare opportunity to master emerging technologies such as LSF 10, Ming.le, and Landmark federation while working on four new 10x implementations and multiple 9.0.1 to 10x upgrades.
