Testimonial: Greensboro, NC Enhances GHR Payroll

The City of Greensboro, North Carolina recently adopted Infor GHR for payroll management. Despite the many improvements the system provided, the city recognized a need for an enhanced understanding of the system’s capabilities, and as such sent business users Karen Bowen and Jackie Lowe to RPI’s Payroll Bootcamp in Baltimore, Maryland.

Over the intensive three-day training session, Karen and Jackie refined their skills across Infor GHR, specifically for payroll purposes. The Bootcamp explored crucial aspects, including payroll processing, time records, and off-cycle administration. The hands-on experience empowered Karen and Jackie with tangible skills and insights into system customization, payroll setup, benefits administration, and more.

Upon completion of the training, Karen and Jackie both eagerly anticipated applying their enriched knowledge in their city roles, feeling more assured in using Infor GHR for efficient payroll management.

Reflecting on their experience, Karen and Jackie emphasized the personalized and welcoming atmosphere of RPI’s Payroll Bootcamp, noting the strong connection among participants. They described it as an invaluable experience, recommending it to anyone seeking to enhance their proficiency with Infor GHR for payroll functions.

“The Bootcamp has helped resolve some of the issues we were experiencing in our system,” Karen said. “I hope I can attend more.”

Jackie expressed gratitude in attending the Bootcamp, sharing that she “came with a bunch of questions,” and that “they were all answered!”
